I teach students of all ages (kids and adults) no matter what level of experience or ability to draw and paint and reach their artistic goals. I teach students realistic drawing and painting. The classes are varied to include teaching still-life, the figure, landscape, portraiture, cartooning, animation, clay sculpture and more. All classes are designed around the student interests. Students learn at their own pace.

What makes Vanessa’s Art Studio different?
Vanessa’s Art Studio is a place where you can learn art and nourish your creativity. Since classes are small (no more than 7 students per class), students get personal attention and they get to know one another too. Vanessa Montenegro, who is a professional artist, teaches the classes. Her assistants go through intense training to provide high quality art standards, and help teaching, too. The studio is not only a place to study art but also a place to make new friends and share your creativity with others. Plus Vanessa is constantly training herself in the latest art techniques and art trends so that she can share her knowledge with her students.

Manga, Illustration, Drawing and Painting for Teens Class: Manga Illustration, Drawing and Painting class will teach conventional realistic-drawing techniques. Develop skills that translate to any kind of realistic drawing: light and shadow, line and tone, perspective and foreshortening, hands, faces, and body action, yet they can learn while drawing the content they want. Students focus on what they want to draw and improve their skills while learning about different artists and art genres. Saturdays from 11:00 to 12:20 pm. Illustration, Drawing, and Painting for Kids & Teens: Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Learn all about drawing illustrations and color. Prismacolors pencils, ink, watercolor, and markers. Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Students focus on what they want to draw and improve their skills while learning about different artists and art genres.Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Saturday Drawing and Painting Art Class: Can not come to art class during the week? No problem. Now, you can join our painting and drawing class on Saturdays. All levels are accepted. Beginners, intermediate and advanced. We will work with acrylics, pastels, ink, pencils, and other materials. We will draw nature, animals, portraits, abstracts, and things! Enjoy a morning of being creative and finding the artist within you.
- Saturdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. (Adults and high schoolers are welcome)
Sundays Pastel Drawing Step By Step Online Only: Learn pastel drawing techniques and tips. Pastels are a great colorful medium. You can create energetic, fast drawings or detailed drawings. We explore this in the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday classes. You can See student artwork!!! Fridays 2:30:00pm pm to 4:00 pm. (Online: Maximum 8 students).
